On September 1, 2026, Wayo Women's University launched "Wayo Recurrent+", a recurrent education program for working adults, including graduates, who are seeking to relearn or improve their skills. Anyone can participate, regardless of age or gender.
Against the backdrop of a declining birthrate and aging population, the rapid advancement of digital technology, and the diversification of work styles, the importance of working adults continuously reskilling and acquiring new knowledge and skills is increasing. Furthermore, the need for support in career development and re-employment/job changes is expanding. In response to these societal demands, Wayo Women's University is launching "Wayo Recurrent+", a new initiative that values continued connections with its graduates while providing learning opportunities to a wide range of working adults.
"Wayo Recurrent+" provides integrated support ranging from reskilling and career development to job change and re-employment assistance, offering support tailored to each individual's life stage and career goals.
We offer unlimited free individual career counseling sessions with career counselors to help you assess your career, set goals, and design your future career plan. We also provide recurrent education courses from a selection of approximately 150 courses (including programs) to meet diverse needs. Furthermore, we offer support such as job referrals, resume and application document review, and interview coaching to help you connect your learning to the next career step, such as changing jobs or re-entering the workforce.
The recurrent education program offers a wide range of courses, including digital fields such as PC skills, web design, programming, and marketing. It provides online e-learning, flexible scheduling, and in-person classes, creating an environment where working professionals can learn flexibly regardless of time or location. Some courses are also eligible for the "Career Advancement Support Program through Reskilling," allowing participants to relearn while utilizing a partial tuition fee reimbursement system.
Going forward, Wayo Women's University will use this program to support the continuous learning of graduates and other working professionals, while also working to create educational opportunities that meet the needs of society and the local community. In addition to improving skills through reskilling, the university will support lifelong learning and growth by encouraging each individual's career development and new challenges.
