Based on data from a national survey on child health and the environment (Ecochill Survey) by research teams such as Hyogo College of Medicine's Pediatrics and Ecochill Research Hyogo Unit Center, mothers are remodeling their homes during pregnancy and pant in infancy. As a result of investigating the relationship between babies and babies, it was found that infants born to pregnant women who had been remodeled and remodeled had a higher incidence of sickness.
According to Hyogo College of Medicine, the research team investigated the incidence of wheezing in infants up to 7 year old born from pregnant women who remodeled their homes during pregnancy from eco-chill survey data of about 5,000 pregnant women nationwide. As a result, it reached 1%.
In contrast, the incidence of wheezing in infants born to pregnant women who did not remodel their homes was 19.3%.The frequency of wheezing in infants born to pregnant women who had remodeled their homes was 1.33 times, and the frequency of repetitive wheezing that occurred four or more times was 4 times.
No special relationship was found in the presence or absence of allergic diseases in pregnant women and respiratory diseases in infants born, and no significant relationship with wheezing was found in infants born to pregnant women who had newly built their homes.
The research group believes that home remodeling during pregnancy may be associated with the development of asthma in infants, and while further investigating the link between remodeling and wheezing, why different results are obtained between new and remodeling. Study whether it is a baby or not.
As a limitation of this survey, the presence or absence of extension / renovation or wheezing is evaluated by answering the questionnaire, and the type and degree of extension / renovation and the severity of wheezing are not clear. The mechanism of the relationship between extension and remodeling during pregnancy and wheezing in infancy of the born child is unknown.
