According to a survey of new students at Kansai 6 private universities, 20% of private university students in Kansai think that dangerous drugs such as cannabis can be obtained, and 1 in 4 witnesses their use.The increase in substance abusers has become a problem in many parts of the world, but the fact that there is still no end to it has become clear again.
The survey was conducted in April by four universities, Kansai, Kwansei Gakuin, Doshisha, and Ritsumeikan, targeting a total of 4 new students in 2016.Of these, 2 people, or 7,432%, responded.
According to the report, 91.5% of the students answered that they should never use dangerous drugs such as cannabis, cocaine, LSD, stimulants, and synthetic cannabinoids, but 6.3% said, "Whether or not to use them is individual. It shows the idea of accepting "freedom of."
Regarding the experience of witnessing drug use, 5.8% answered "yes".0.4% have been recommended to purchase and 1.0% have been recommended to use it. 3.2% of the respondents answered that "there are users around", and the breakdown of drugs was mostly organic solvents such as cannabis and thinner, and synthetic cannabinoids.
Regarding the acquisition of drugs, 35.6% answered that they "have a little difficulty, but they can get it" and 24.1% said that they can get it easily. The reason for this is that 65.8% said, "I felt it was easy to obtain through the press." Only 3.3% said they saw it actually sold, and only 1.8% said they knew how to get it.
Since 4, when the four universities issued a joint statement on substance abuse prevention, they have been conducting an awareness survey of new students every year.
