Breast cancer is said to increase rapidly from the late 30s, who are active in the home and society.In recent years, it is said that 11 in 1 Japanese women suffers from breast cancer, but early detection has cured about 90%.For this reason, Kio University focused on bathing, which is one of the daily pleasures, with the aim of supporting health improvement and QOL improvement after breast cancer healing, and created bathing clothes that can be worn at hot bath facilities.
In conducting this research, we obtained the cooperation of the Disease Control Division, Nara Prefecture Welfare and Medical Care Department, and the Consumption and Life Safety Division, Culture, Education, and Living Creation Department.For the trial production and wearing test, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 45 post-breast cancer women and 110 bathing facilities who go to a cancer base hospital in Nara prefecture, and realized a design that is easy to put on and take off and has good hot water drainage.
