The "KIU Universal Sports Experience Rally" is a part of the "SDGs Project in Shiawasenomura" project in Kobe City. Based on the philosophy of "3. Health and welfare for all", which is one of the SDGs items, visitors can experience sports (universal sports) that can be enjoyed by men and women of all ages and with or without disabilities in a rally format. The purpose is to deepen the understanding of competition and disabilities.
The Faculty of Rehabilitation of Kobe Kokusai University is a training school for the "Intermediate Disability Sports Instructor Qualification" of the Japan Sports Association for the Disabled.Undergraduate students are learning about universal sports and how to teach practical skills both inside and outside the curriculum, and at this event, they will explain the competition and provide experience assistance at various experience booths.
You can experience flying discs, table tennis valley, wheelchair slalom, and pocha (potcha and wheelchair slalom can be selected on the day).The content of the rally and the level of experience are set for the lower to middle grades of elementary school.Those who wish to participate need to apply from the dedicated application form.The application period is from August 8th (Sun) 8:12 to August 00nd (Sun) 8:22.The application will be closed when the maximum number of participants reaches 17.
