Tadamasa Kimura Laboratory, Graduate School of Sociology, Rikkyo University and Fuller, Inc. are conducting research to visualize the relationship between smartphone apps as part of joint research, and based on app usage data that differs for each gender, each lifestyle It was clarified from the viewpoint of academic research that it can be inferred concretely.

 In this research, Professor Shinichiro Wada and Associate Professor Yasuko Kawabata of Rikkyo University Graduate School of Sociology took the lead in applying the association analysis used in POS analysis to the mobile log data of the smartphone app provided by Fuller, Inc.

 According to the analysis, female smartphone users in their 40s often switched from shopping point apps to email apps and web browser apps.In addition, it was possible to capture the characteristic movements depending on the gender age, such as the fact that people in their thirties are using a group of major EC apps together, and that the use of apps is remarkable in the brand economic zone.

 In the joint research, we are studying data analysis methods and analyzing actual usage trends every year with the aim of contributing to the usefulness and awareness of mobile life logs.In the future, Fuller, Inc. and Rikkyo University will proceed with more detailed analysis by combining more elaborate analysis methods and questionnaire surveys, and will carry out "mobile life," which is the actual usage data of smartphones that can be said to be "copy mirrors" in the world. We will promote joint research to make the "log" useful for society.
