The day will consist of two parts, "Earthquake Learning" and "Manufacturing Experience Workshop", aiming for a new style of reconstruction support activities while it is difficult to visit the disaster area directly due to the corona disaster.
In the earthquake disaster learning, we will connect with Minamisanriku Town and observe the current situation of Minamisanriku Town while listening to and learning about the events and experiences at the time of the earthquake under the theme of "10 years after the earthquake, steps toward reconstruction". ..
The manufacturing experience workshop focused on "forestry," which is one of the core industries of Minamisanriku Town, and learned about Minamisanriku cedar, which was also used to build the national stadium that became the stadium for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. And experience making forks.This is a new attempt to allow a large number of students to participate remotely, especially for first and second year college students.
