In April 4, Nagoya University of Commerce opened the "Business Management Course", which is the only one in Japan where BBA (undergraduate MBA) can be obtained by conducting all lectures in an active learning format for four years. The reorganization will be based on the faculty collaboration course system revised in August 2022, and will develop a curriculum in which the three faculties of Business Administration, Economics, and Commerce collaborate.
Nagoya University of Commerce has a Faculty of Commerce, a Faculty of Business Administration, a Faculty of Economics, and a Faculty of International Studies. Since its opening in 1953, it has consistently developed international management education. In the MBA (Master of Business Administration) program of business schools, the degree program (EMBA, MBA, MSc) is selected as No. 1 in Japan (as of 2021) in the QS ranking.
In this course, we will utilize the case method cultivated in MBA education to learn real learning that is directly linked to business.Through a curriculum that studies business administration, economics, and commerce all at once, you will learn knowledge about a wide range of management areas, practical decision-making ability, management analysis ability, leadership ability, and so on.Graduates will be awarded the "BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration)", which means the undergraduate version of the MBA.
The class is a participant-centered discussion type, and the grade evaluation is also a business school style in which grades are evaluated by remarks during the class and prior reports. No regular test will be conducted. In addition, since the Nagoya campus has a four-term system for two semesters for one year, one subject will be completed in two months.
The enrollment capacity for the "Business Management Course" is 80.There are two types of BBA, BBA for learning only in Japanese and Global BBA for learning only in English. Global BBA is required to have English proficiency equivalent to discussion (TOEIC 750 or higher as a guide).
