With this donation, which is the highest amount in TUJ history, the "Mochida / Stronak Full Scholarship" will be created, and it will be a scholarship system that allows excellent students from Japan's national and public high schools to attend TUJ without any real tuition fees.
The "Mochida Stronach Full Scholarship" was named in honor of Mr. Mochida and Bruce Stronach, a former president of TUJ and a longtime friend of Mr. Mochida.From among the students who are expected to graduate from Japanese national and public high schools and wish to enroll in TUJ for the purpose of obtaining a bachelor's degree, some students are selected every year based on their academic performance, etc., and the faculty for a maximum of 10 semesters (5 years) Full payment of tuition and other expenses for the course.
The scholarship also includes optional study abroad (tuition and expenses benefits) and Bridge Program at Temple University America Headquarters (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) for up to two semesters.
The Bridge Program is a system that allows students whose English proficiency does not meet the criteria for regular admission to the undergraduate course to enter the undergraduate course conditionally.
