慶應義塾大学経済学部附属経済研究所FinTEKセンターは、大手8社と連携して2021年11月6日～2022年2月19日（約3.5ヵ月間）、学部・学年不問の大学生向け無償データサイエンス基礎講座を開催する。エントリーは10月31日まで受け付けており、10月25日10時の時点で、海外3カ国と33都道府県から208の大学・大学院に通う学生1400名が応募している。
This course is an online course that utilizes LMS (Learning Management System) so that even beginners can systematically and practically learn the basics of data science.A program for a total of 1 months, in which input is made in advance learning and assignments, and output in group training is repeated 3 times in 5 phase for 3.5 weeks.It is a curriculum that not only allows you to acquire knowledge of level XNUMX of the statistical test and learn the basics of Python, but also handles actual business data of participating companies and solves problems through individual and group work.
In this course, class results are given for each phase, and a certificate of completion is issued according to the stage of learning, which can be used for job hunting.Furthermore, the learning history can be posted on the platform "STAR *" and the learning history can be used to improve the matching accuracy with companies.
Among the participating companies, Sumitomo Life Insurance Company will provide special selection steps to those with excellent results, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Ltd. will be invited to a special seminar, and Mizuho Research & Technologies Co., Ltd. will participate in a roundtable event.
