■ Universities that promote qualitative transformation of education
■ Universities that focus on contributing to the local community, such as the development of local communities
■ Universities that provide advanced education and research support in collaboration with industry and other universities
■ Universities that support diverse globalization such as regional internationalization
We divided it into four fields, and selected the schools to be supported from the applications of 4 schools.

 243 schools including Koriyama Women's University, Sophia University, Nagahama Institute of Biotechnology, Hiroshima Bunka Women's University, Shikoku University, etc. 125 schools including foreign language universities.

 Collaboration with industry and other universities is 75 schools such as Azabu University, Chukyo University, Kanazawa Medical University, Osaka Electronic Communication University, Kansai Gakuin University, globalization is Tokyo Keizai University, Kanagawa University, Ritsumeikan University, Kansai University, Miyazaki International University 77 schools.

 In order to promote the reform of higher education as a whole, the Ministry of Education has urgently promoted reform support projects for private universities, which account for about 8% of universities. In fiscal 2016, we will receive an increase in the ordinary expenses subsidy and expand the number of schools that have been adopted, while providing additional support for implementing high school connection reforms.
