Hida Takayama University (tentative name) aims to open in April 2024 as the first private four-year university in the Hida region of Gifu Prefecture. The press conference was held in Furukawa-cho, Hida City, where the Hida City Main School Campus will be set up.Hida Takayama University plans to establish "bonds" between our campus and each region, and to establish bases in 11 locations nationwide (as of November 2021).We aim to create opportunities for students to come into direct contact with the current situation of local cities and depopulated areas facing various issues through practical fields, and to develop human resources who can demonstrate innovation in regional issues from a cross-sectional and wide-ranging perspective.The number of students is assumed to be 11 for enrollment and 100 for accommodation (as of November 400).The established faculty will be renamed the "Co-creation Faculty" with an eye on the appearance of higher education in New Normal, changing the original schedule.
Hiroaki Miyata, a professor at Keio University School of Medicine, has been appointed as a candidate for president.His specialty is data science, and he conducts research activities centered on contributions to improve the reality by taking on the challenge of social change by making full use of science.In collaboration with the specialist system, we are working on various practices including non-medical fields such as the National Clinical Database in which 5000 hospitals participate, LINE and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's new corona national survey.

As of October 2021, the bases connected to our school campus are Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture, Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture, Nakanoto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, Obuse Town, Nagano Prefecture, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, and Sapporo City, Hokkaido.・ The planned sites are Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Tottori City, Tottori Prefecture, and Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Prior to the opening of the school, from June 2021, 6, an original educational method "bonding ship (practical education for creating two-way bonds)" to be provided at bases in various places for active university students and working people will be conducted on a trial basis.
