 The "HATO Project" is a large-scale teacher training college centered on Hokkaido University of Education (H), Aichi University of Education (A), Tokyo Gakugei University (T), and Osaka Kyoiku University (O). The purpose was to establish a system that can solve common problems in collaboration, and to establish a network with teacher training universities and faculties nationwide, and to build an advanced support system for teacher training in Japan. project.

 One of these efforts is the "Communication Competence Development Project for Teacher Training Course Students and In-service Teachers by Theatrical Method", which is mainly carried out by Hokkaido Kyoiku University. For three years from 2011 to 2013, in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's special expense "teacher education program development by theatrical method" project, it is used for "actor training" in collaboration with the theater group "Furano Group" presided over by Mr. Satoshi Kuramoto.
