"Waters Takeshiba", a waterside complex that fluttered in Minato-ku, Tokyo in October 2020, collaborates with Hiroya Tanaka Laboratory of Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) and works with students in the laboratory to create a waterside space in Tokyo. "Mirai Sakuba-ki -10 Winter-", an initiative to create a new garden in Tokyo, has started. As the first step, we will install a mysterious object (playset) made for children.

"Mirai Sakuteiki" is a model of "Sakuteiki", the oldest garden book in Japan, with special structures and play equipment created with a 3D printer, and the natural landscape and surrounding environment. A new garden that is arranged, composed and created while valuing relationships. In addition to being able to actually play with the works created by the latest design scheme and 3D printing technology, even those who cannot come to the site can enjoy gardening using blocks in a virtual space.

The initial position of the objects that are rearranged every morning on the lawn is determined by optimal calculation with a computer from the mutual visibility of the works and the range of influence of each other, while learning from the form of the discrete stone garden. It is also fun for visitors to move the blocks according to their own tastes and create a further relationship with "Reiwa's dry garden" made from the latest design and technology.

In addition, the 3D virtual space "MachiCAD" is a "participatory and editable town" that expands just by opening a browser, based on a system originally developed by Hiroya Tanaka's laboratory.Even people who have difficulty actually visiting Waters Takeshiba can place things on the lawn and create a garden from this system. In the future, Takeshiba Town Design (JR East) and Hiroya Tanaka Laboratory will make the best use of the characteristics of Waters Takeshiba, which is a "waterside complex" located in the center of Tokyo, and utilize biomass plastics and biodegradable plastics. Furthermore, we will continue to cooperate and promote manufacturing that contributes to a carbon-free society and a resource-cycle society, and also contribute to the promotion and enlightenment of SDGs.

"Mirai Sakuteiki -2021 Winter-" will be held at Waters Takeshiba Plaza (lawn plaza) and 3D virtual space from December 2021th (Wednesday) to December 12th (Tuesday), 8 from 12:14 to 10:16. do.free entrance.During the period, it is scheduled to be lit up until around 12:8 on December 11th (Wednesday), 12th (Saturday), 14th (Sunday), and 4th (Tuesday).
