"Shimadzu Precision Instrumental Analysis Room" is a "metabolomics analysis system (liquid chromatograph mass spectrometer)" and "microchip electrophoresis device" donated by Shimadzu Corporation on the occasion of the establishment of the Faculty of Life Science and Technology through the university reform in 2016. , "Life science spectrophotometer" and other facilities equipped with cutting-edge equipment centered on advanced precision equipment related to life science.
For Tokyo Institute of Technology, this new analysis room will be the first shared equipment room in collaboration with a company on campus.In the future, it will be utilized for promotion of advanced research, research support for young researchers and students, international joint research and industry-academia collaboration with various companies, and as a detonator for increasing academic papers and promoting industry-academia collaboration. As a model of industry-academia collaboration, we will further accelerate the sharing of facilities throughout the university.Shimadzu plans to use it as a base for industry-academia collaboration space.
