The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Council of Experts summarized that building a consistent curriculum from kindergartens and establishing an evaluation method for university enrollment selection are considered as issues for promoting the International Baccalaureate of international education programs. It became clear in the interim report.The Japan Revitalization Strategy has set a goal of significantly increasing the number of accredited schools to 2018 by 200, and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology plans to utilize the discussions at the expert meeting in future measures.

 International Baccalaureate is an educational program provided by the International Baccalaureate Organization, which is headquartered in Switzerland.We provide a comprehensive education program for people aged 3 to 19 with the aim of developing human resources who can contribute to the international community with a sense of balance and independence through education for all.Students who have completed a high school program in Japan will be eligible to complete the graduation exam if they complete a certain grade.
According to the interim report, there are 4 accredited schools in Japan as of April. The number of schools increased by 45 from 2014 in April 4 schools use it for university entrance exams, and 27 of them have introduced it in all faculties.

 However, in addition to the fact that the educational effects of the introduction have not yet fully penetrated, experts are involved in building a consistent educational curriculum from kindergartens, establishing evaluation methods for university entrance exams, and securing teachers including foreigners. It was raised as an issue at the meeting.
As future promotion measures, it is necessary to build an information sharing system for issues and cases, establish an ICT (Information and Communication Technology) platform for information sharing, and build a course support system by the government.
