Both the Hida Takayama University (tentative name) and the eastern area of Hida Furukawa Station are located in a location that surrounds the tourist center of Hida City.The building site area of this new facility is approximately 23,100 mXNUMX.In collaboration with the newly established Hida Takayama University (tentative name), it will be developed as a co-creation base that "connects with the community" and enriches the "education," "living," and "leisure" of local residents.
The facility will be designed by Sou Fujimoto, who designs the campus of Hida Takayama University (tentative name) and produces the venue for the Osaka / Kansai Expo.With a characteristic oval design, it has openness that can be accessed from all directions.By becoming a hub for people to come and go, encouraging activities, and improving the mobility of the entire city, we aim to increase the experience value of the entire city, including the center.As one of the methods, we are studying the utilization of digital devices and the ideal way of decarbonization tourism.
