Ritsumeikan, a school corporation that operates Ritsumeikan University, and Le Cordon Bleu, a French cooking and hospitality educational institution, have signed an academic alliance agreement. At the "Faculty of Food Management," which will open on the Ritsumeikan University Biwakokusatsu Campus in April 2018, we will develop a joint program that will allow us to obtain internationally accepted qualifications.

 According to Ritsumeikan University, the name of the program is "Global Culinary Arts and Management Program".The target is 1 students in the 16st grade of the Faculty of Food Management, and recruitment will start after enrollment.

 In addition to learning management and marketing in the hotel industry, Le Cordon Bleu's instructors will give lectures and practical training on cooking techniques and knowledge, as well as company inspections and long-term internships in related industries.In addition to a bachelor's degree from Ritsumeikan University, you can also obtain a qualification issued by Le Cordon Bleu.

 Founded in Paris in 1895, Le Cordon Bleu has an international network of more than 20 schools in 35 countries around the world, welcoming more than 2 students each year.There are Tokyo and Kobe schools in Japan, and they teach French cooking with the same curriculum as Paris.
