On July 2017, 7, Kyoto Women's University and Nara Institute of Science and Technology signed a comprehensive agreement with the aim of revitalizing education and research activities.

 Through this comprehensive agreement, Kyoto Women's University, a private university, and Nara Institute of Science and Technology, a national university, will promote exchanges between faculty members, students, and graduate students, and cooperate in the fields of education and research. We aim to develop human resources who have a broad perspective and are integrated with science and technology, beyond the framework and the system of the faculty of origin.

 Furthermore, we will further accelerate joint research in the fields of information science, which we have been working on at both universities, and work on new research development that combines pedagogy / paedology and advanced science and technology, as well as cutting-edge research at undergraduate and graduate schools. By collaborating in education related to the field of science and technology, we will also focus on training and producing "Rikejo", a female human resource in the science field, whose demand will increase in the future.
