Josai University will carry out "Big Data Marketing Education" in collaboration with Seki Yakuhin Co., Ltd., which operates drug stores mainly in Saitama Prefecture, and True Data Co., Ltd., which operates a big data platform.
In this program, students utilize big data to inspect Seki Yakuhin's stores, and then plan and propose actual sales floor creation and over-the-counter sales promotion measures.With the aim of expanding sales, students will take up "body soap" and "washing pigment" and propose to create a sales floor where local customers can easily select products, meet the products they want, and notice new products they want. In data analysis, we will utilize big data marketing methods to superimpose and interpret the purchase data of Seki Yakuhin and the consumer big data of True Data.
Through this initiative, the three parties that run the program will deepen cooperation between students and local businesses, create opportunities for learning and human resource development in the region, and work to revitalize the local economy in the future.In addition, as an initiative that contributes to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) "3 High-quality education for everyone," we will provide a place for high-quality practical education through industry-academia collaboration, and participants will be able to work at companies in the DX era. Aim for education to acquire the technical and vocational skills necessary for working.
The target of "Big Data Marketing Education" is the second year student of the Faculty of Business Administration, Josai University. It will be held 2 times from April 2022th (Thursday) to July 4st (Thursday), 7.
