Students of the Faculty of Architecture, Kogakuin University, known as Japan's first Faculty of Architecture, are holding a special exhibition "Frank Lloyd Wright x Nippon-Meeting," which has been held since September 2017, 9 at the Museum Meiji-mura in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture.  Frank Lloyd Wright is an American architect known as the designer of the central entrance of the former Imperial Hotel and one of the three great masters of modern architecture.It can be said that it features a unique geometric pattern inspired by the natural world such as plants.In "Frank Lloyd Wright x Nippon-Meeting, Born-", which will be held to commemorate the 150th anniversary of his birth, Wright's works in Japan will be introduced from models, furniture, and drawings.

 At the venue, "Corbel = Liang, Eaves, etc." on the 2nd floor of the main lobby of the central entrance of the former Imperial Hotel, created by students of the Ouchida Laboratory of the Faculty of Architecture, who are engaged in research on architects and architectural works related to modern architecture. A 1/3 size model puzzle of "Reinforcing material that supports the overhanging part of the building" is also on display.This "corbel" model puzzle was completed in about two months after careful field surveys by students in an attempt to convey the fun of the detailed geometric patterns and designs of the lights to the visitors. thing.
