COI is a program that promotes vision-driven, challenging, high-risk research and development in FY10 (9-2013) with an eye on the social image that should be aimed at 2021 years from now.At Kansai Gakuin University, the laboratory of Professor Noriko Nagata, who is the director of the Sensitive Value Creation Institute, the laboratory of Professor Masataka Imura, and the laboratory of Professor Tomoya Yamamoto, are located at Chukyo University, Kanazawa College of Art, and Companies 18. Participated with companies (core base: Keio University).
The program aims to contribute to SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) at the same time as realizing a richly sensitive and valued society based on the vision of "realizing a society in which each person's design is widespread". We proceeded with research and development of "intermediate expressions that connect sensibilities and physical properties", sensitivities value indexing technology, and bespoke digital (individual optimization) technology.In addition, the research results were socially implemented in the form of numerous commercializations, technology transfers, and licenses, such as "sensitivity evaluation service," "sensitivity AI sommelier," "sensitivity metric bank," and "evaluation structure visualization system."
Furthermore, under the cooperation agreement concluded between Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus (SFC) and Kwansei Gakuin University Kobe Mita Campus (KSC) (KSC-SFC), we will closely cooperate through researcher exchanges, etc. It was also highly evaluated that 2 specially appointed researchers acquired tenure.
* Kwansei Gakuin University's "Sensitive Value Creation Institute" (formerly Sensitive Value Creation Research Center) was evaluated for the research results of various industry-academia collaborations including the COI program, and was used in the long-term strategy "Kwansei Grand Challenge 2039" of Kwansei Gakuin University. It was officially launched in 2020 under a certain "construction of a core research group system".
