金沢星稜大学（石川県金沢市）において、2017年8月31日～9月1日の2日間に渡り、「第15回学生FDサミット2017夏」が開催。全国37大学から学生と教職員200人以上が集まり、「みんなで考える理想の授業～温故知新！学生ＦＤの今昔から～」をテーマにグループに分かれ、課題である「シラバスを創ろう」に取り組んだ。
"Student FD (Faculty Development) activities" is an initiative to improve and improve university classes with the trinity of teachers, staff, and students. At the "Student FD Summit," students will share and discuss issues related to university education while presenting their activities and achievements.Currently, about 50 universities are conducting student FD activities, with nearly 500 participants, and the summit has been held once or twice a year since August 2009.
On the first day, a lecture was given by Mr. Yasuhiro Kamada, Director of Research Cooperation, Research Promotion Division, University of Fukui, entitled "Let's play while learning about the university".After that, the students were divided into groups of 7 to 9 people to discuss the issues.Finally, a social gathering was held. On the second day, the contents discussed on the first day were summarized as a plan, and a syllabus was created by group work.
The executive committee chairman, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Economics, said, "I was quite worried because the task was difficult and the number of staff was limited. I was very impressed to see that the group had an interesting and solid syllabus, "he recalled.
