Showa Women's University will sponsor the "Kyiv Ballet Support Charity BALLET GALA in TOKYO" to be held at the Hitomi Memorial Hall on July 2022, 7.
The prestigious Ukrainian Kyiv Ballet Company first came to Japan in 1972 and has been performing in Japan almost every year since 2007, and has a deep relationship with Japan. In 2021, all the performances were canceled due to the Japanese government's border measures just before coming to Japan, and it was said that it would be difficult to hold this time considering the situation in Ukraine.However, each dancer decided to come to Japan because of his strong desire to "somehow go to Japan even under these circumstances and deliver a wonderful performance to as many spectators as possible."
This charity performance was planned by Mr. Tamiyo Kusakari ahead of the Japanese performance "Kyiv Ballet Gala 2022" to be held from July 7th to August 15th, 8.For the future reconstruction of the war-torn Kyiv Ballet Company, all seats will be performed free of charge in order to let many people know about Ukraine's Kyiv Ballet in Japan.In addition to 9 ballet dancers who are active both in Japan and abroad, two dancers from the Kyiv Ballet Company, Anna Muromzewa and Nikita Sharkov, will appear on the day.Showa Women's University will support Ukraine, which has been severely damaged by the Russian invasion.

"Kyiv Ballet Support Charity BALLET GALA in TOKYO" will start at 2022:7 on July 5, 18 (Tuesday) at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall.Free tickets (all seats reserved, with special program).For charity performances, visitors are required to raise more than 30 yen (excluding students), and the entire amount will be donated to the Kyiv Ballet Company.
