From August 8th to September 8th, Yokohama City University will hold an internship for clerical workers jointly with Yokohama City University Hospital and five medical corporations.It is a rare initiative in Japan that combines online programs with local training at affiliated hospitals, etc., and jointly works to secure clerical staff responsible for medical management.
According to Yokohama City University, internships are open to 2nd to 4th year students and graduate students.Joint internships with affiliated hospitals include Aijinkai in Osaka Prefecture, Ishikawa Memorial Hall in Ehime Prefecture, Sekishinkai in Kanagawa Prefecture, Ageo Central Medical Group Council in Saitama Prefecture, and Kunsenkai in Ishikawa Prefecture.
