Kazuo Koyama, a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Education, Hyogo University of Teacher Education, and Keisuke Niwase, a professor at the United Graduate School of Education, Department of Natural Education, presented the mathematical model of the time development of creativity for the first time in the world.

The need for mathematical models is increasing year by year as a tool for explaining and predicting phenomena that occur in various fields such as theoretical chemistry, applied chemistry, economics, and sociology. On the other hand, in the field of pedagogy and the field of creativity, mathematical models have hardly been proposed so far because the phenomena are diverse and many factors are involved.

If the mechanism of learning and the process of creativity are clarified and predictable by constructing mathematical models, further progress in education and research can be expected in these fields. In particular, "expression of creativity" is regarded as one of the most important issues in psychology and brain science, and research has been conducted from various viewpoints.

Under these circumstances, this research focuses on "creative attitude".Two main factors of creative attitude extracted by factor analysis (effort / sustainability and independence / originality), and external force (school test, etc.) and internal force (impressive experience and enthusiastic experience) that affect them. Was used as an element of model construction. It is said that these relationships were modeled using a linear approximation of the chaos theory of nonlinear dynamics and a classical approximation of quantum theory, and a mathematical simulation of creativity development was successful.

The mathematical model proposed this time is expected to serve as a platform for discussing the direction of "creativity education" related to educational issues such as leisure education, stuffing education, and fostering the ability to live.It is also of great significance as a proposal for a new research method called "application of dynamic mathematical modeling in pedagogy".

Hyogo University of Education

Future education is born from here.Aiming to be a top runner in teacher education

In order to train "teachers who can continue to learn" for a lifetime with excellent practical and human skills, we have set up a variety of learning venues according to the deepening of each student's learning.Over the four years from the beginning of enrollment, we have systematically arranged various types of educational training and cultivated practical skills in subject guidance and class management through abundant on-site experience […].
