Tokyo Institute of Technology Adult Academy will start the 2022 "Consensus Building Studies Seminar" from October 10 for business operators, regions, local governments, citizens, etc. involved in the process of consensus building and designing places.

 In the "Consensus Building Studies Seminar," each student is asked to answer questions such as "What is consensus?", "What is consensus building?" Learn various perspectives for consensus building with the goal of obtainingWhere consensus is formed (world/country, region, local government, place), what is formed by consensus (system, policy, process, consent), how to form consensus (system, assessment, framework, facilitation, design, management, technology, strategy), moving the viewpoint from broad and global to detailed and local, and advance all 10 sessions.

 The “Consensus Formation Seminar” will be held online via Zoom, with 4 courses and 4 classes. Classes will be held on Wednesdays (excluding holidays) from October to December 2022.Up to 10 times in total, classes that can be taken vary depending on the course.Each class time is from 12:10 to 18:30 (20 minute break, total lecture time is 40 minutes). A certificate of completion will be issued and awarded to students who have completed the "Consensus building system, process, design, and management" (comprehensive) course and have met the criteria.

 Currently, we are accepting additional applications for the "Consensus building in environmental policy" class, "Designing a forum for dialogue" class, and "Consensus building management technology and strategy" class until noon on Friday, October 10st.
