Tokyo Metropolitan University and GA technologies Co., Ltd. announced that they have succeeded in reducing business hours by up to 55% with the aim of improving operational efficiency in the real estate industry through joint research.

Due to the decrease in the working-age population due to the declining birthrate and aging population, improving work efficiency and productivity in corporate activities has become an important issue, and the role of AI (artificial intelligence) is drawing a great deal of attention as one of the solutions.
In the real estate industry, delays in digitization and inefficient business systems have been pointed out, and inefficient property searches and property proposals that rely on the knowledge and experience of salespeople have been viewed as problems. Therefore, this research group has started efforts to improve operations in the real estate industry by utilizing AI and RPA (Robotic Process Automation).

In this industry-academia joint research, Takama Laboratory at Tokyo Metropolitan University provided a calculation model and experimentally introduced a property recommendation system that applied AI machine learning to the purchase of used real estate for renovation. As a result, the company succeeded in reducing the time it takes to propose a property (the speed of purchasing used real estate) by up to 55%.

In addition, the real estate industry's first Mysoku (documents that summarize property outlines, floor plans, maps, etc.) using AI image analysis technology can be automatically read, and 2/3 of the man-hours required for purchasing properties can be automated. was also successful. We have reduced the time required for purchasing operations to 1/3, and realized a system that allows human resources to focus on communication with customers and sales activities.

In the future, the joint research group will aim to further improve the efficiency of other operations, and plans to work on research and development of a similar property recommendation system that spans regions.Furthermore, in the future, the company aims to improve the productivity of the entire real estate industry and create real estate services with high user convenience through sales of these business support systems to external customers.
