The number of students using the adult mentor system independently implemented by Showa Women's University has exceeded 1.This is a system in which students meet with working mentors in groups or individually to discuss their career plans and lifestyles after graduation, which is useful for improving the employment rate of students.
According to Showa Women's University, a mentor means a work leader or adviser.Every spring and autumn, we are recruiting working people to be advisors to students.Currently, there are about 300 mentors. Eighty percent are from other than Showa Women's University, and women with diverse work experience, mainly in their 8s and 30s, are registered.
