The Department of Management and Sociology in the Faculty of Sociology regularly holds special lectures by practitioners who are active in Japan and abroad, with the aim of realizing education that is directly connected to the real world.This time, the doors were opened not only to the students of the Department of Management and Society, but also to the students of the Department of Mass Communication, providing a valuable opportunity for students aiming to learn about the entertainment business and find employment in the entertainment industry.
On the day of the event, a wide variety of themes such as the current state of the Japanese entertainment industry, including Yoshimoto Kogyo, the direction the company is aiming for, the business model, and the type of human resources required in the entertainment industry in the future, will be presented. The students listened intently to his words, “looking at the world and the future.”At the end of his lecture, Mr. Osaki said, "Nowadays, we can easily deal with the world.
