In February 2023, whicker Co., Ltd., a venture company from Kyoto University, will expand the service area from Osaka and Kyoto to the 2 wards of Tokyo.

 Whicker Magotomo, operated by whicker, is a service where university students, who are the grandchildren of the elderly, visit their homes and nursing care facilities, and respond to the needs of the elderly, such as helping them use their smartphones and accompanying them when they go out, so that they can stay with their grandchildren.
