The FD2 Lab visualizes and quantifies Japan's advanced sewing techniques, aims to pass them on to the next generation, and promotes innovation in the fashion industry by utilizing digitized techniques for fashion 3D modeling.

 In the FD2 Lab, the material science laboratory of the Department of Home Economics, Department of Home Economics, Japan Women's University, which celebrated its 120th anniversary, is inputting physical parameters into 3D modeling software such as "STYLE3D", "CLO", and "BROWZWEAR" that simulate clothing silhouettes, and It plays the role of clarifying the relationship between KES-FB texture measurement system and fabric physical properties according to JIS standards.
