Recruit Marketing Partners Co., Ltd. has been conducting a survey on the brand power of high school students since 2008 in order to clarify the trends in high school students' selection of universities. The results of the 2018 survey have been announced.The target of the survey is a total of 2019 people who are attending high schools in the Kanto area, Tokai area, and Kansai area and are planning to graduate in March 3 (valid responses: 94,000).
According to the survey, "Waseda University" ranked first and "Meiji University" ranked second in the Kanto area for the second consecutive year in the "University Rankings I Want to Apply for".In the Tokai area, "Meijo University" ranked first for two consecutive years, "Nagoya University" ranked second, and in the Kansai area, "Kansai University" ranked first for 2 consecutive years, and "Kinki University" ranked second.
By gender, the number one boy is "Meiji University" in the Kanto area, "Meijo University" in the Tokai area, and "Kinki University" in the Kansai area.The first place for girls is "Waseda University" in the Kanto area, "Nanzan University" in the Tokai area, and "Kansai University" in the Kansai area.By liberal arts and science, the Kanto area "Aoyama Gakuin University", the Tokai area "Nanzan University", and the Kansai area "Kansai University" are ranked first.The first place in science was "Nihon University" in the Kanto area, "Meijo University" in the Tokai area, and "Osaka City University" in the Kansai area.
In the "Knowledge University Rankings", the Kanto area was "Meiji University", the Tokai area was "Nagoya University", and the Kansai area was "Kinki University".
