Tokyo Gakugei University and Mistletoe Co., Ltd. have signed a comprehensive business agreement to build Japan's first nationwide base for promoting "open innovation in public education." The two companies will jointly establish a new organization within 2018, and will open the "Educational Incubation Center (tentative name)", which is the first educational university in Japan to operate through industry-academia collaboration, in the spring of 2019.
Mistletoe is an entrepreneurial support company founded by Taizo Son, a Japanese serial entrepreneur and venture investor.
