On Saturday, November 2018, 11, four universities with campuses in Shibuya Ward (Jissen Women's University / Jissen Women's University Junior College, Aoyama Gakuin University, Kokugakuin University, Sacred Heart Women's University) sponsored "Diversity and Coexistence" Lectures and panel discussions will be held under the theme of "Society".Participants are residents, employees, and students of Shibuya Ward, and students, graduates, and faculty members of 24 universities.
In December 2017, Jissen Women's University / Jissen Women's University Junior College, Aoyama Gakuin University, Kokugakuin University, and Sacred Heart Women's University collaborated and cooperated to create new universities based on sustainable development and diverse values. In the first half of the program, Mr. Ken Hasebe, Mayor of Shibuya Ward, will give a keynote speech entitled "Shibuya Ward's Initiatives for Diversity".In the second half, under the theme of "diversity and symbiotic society," Professor Sayoko Iisasa of Aoyama Gakuin University (multicultural coexistence), Professor Kenji Ishii of Kokugakuin University (Study Shibuya), Professor Tazuko Hiroi of Practical Women's University (gender), and Ohashi of Sacred Heart Women's University A panel discussion will be held by four professors, including Professor Masaaki (Global Symbiosis).
