 Two new majors will be established in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The ``Bioscience Major'' comprehensively teaches specialized knowledge and techniques in the life science field based on biology, and cultivates practical specialists who can play an active role in a wide range of fields, mainly in the fields of biology and biochemistry. The ``Environment and Clean Energy Major'' comprehensively teaches specialized knowledge and techniques in environmental science necessary to solve various problems in the environmental and energy fields, and cultivates practical personnel who can play an active role in a variety of fields.
