Since 2016, Chiba University has made the global-related course group "International Japanese Studies" compulsory for all universities, and is developing a liberal arts program with more than 100 courses.In the same year, the Faculty of International Liberal Arts was opened as the 10th faculty.Despite the capacity of 90 students, a total of 3 students (216 students per year on average) are studying abroad at 72 universities in 24 countries in the three years since the school opened.
