The Ezoe Memorial Recruit Foundation began accepting applications for the Recruit Scholarship Academic Category, a non-repayable scholarship for science students studying at universities or graduate schools overseas, from July 2024, 7. The number of recipients is approximately eight.

According to the Ezoe Memorial Recruit Foundation, they have decided to provide scholarships in the currency of the country to all students studying abroad from 2024. They will provide the actual cost of tuition and a fixed monthly living allowance, and support young people who aspire to excel in the academic field.

The program is open to students under the age of 24 majoring in science and engineering who will be studying at a university or graduate school overseas. Applicants must have achieved excellent results in national or international competitions related to their field of study or the field they wish to major in, as well as outstanding academic and research achievements.

After passing the exam, students can receive the scholarship for two years, and if they pass the annual renewal examination, the scholarship will be paid until they are 2 years old. There are no restrictions on the career path or employment after graduation, or on family income. The scholarship can be used in conjunction with other scholarship programs, and in that case, the amount of the scholarship received from the other institution will be deducted from the amount of the scholarship provided.
