 Ritsumeikan University has positioned "cultivation of multicultural collaborative human resources who contribute to the global Asian community" as a business goal in the Top Global University Project, which was adopted in 2014, to enhance the international applicability of Japanese students. In order to do so, we have sent a large number of students overseas through various programs to develop attractive programs and expand learning support before and after studying abroad.

 At Ritsumeikan University, in addition to the dispatch program to the University of British Columbia in Canada and the seminar on cross-cultural understanding that have been held for nearly 30 years, in recent years, "Japan-China-Korea Collaborative Operation Campus for Training East Asian Humanities Leaders" , We have also set up new programs to be developed in Asia, such as the "Global Field Project", which conducts a one-week field study in Southeast Asia. In 1, Japan's first joint degree program "American University / Ritsumeikan University International Collaboration Department" was established at the undergraduate level. In April 2018, it plans to open a Global College of Liberal Arts through a dual degree program with the Australian National University.
