Starting with the 2025 entrance examinations, Teikyo University will implement a new "Scholarship Selection" program (recruitment limit: 4 students) that will waive all entrance fees as well as all entrance fees, tuition fees, facility and equipment fees, and laboratory and practical fees for up to four years.
The selection of scholarship students is open to both current and former students, and does not depend on academic performance as an application criterion. Students can apply to multiple schools at the same time, and the selection is done through a three-subject departmental exam. The exam is open to all faculties except for the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Medical Technology, and can be taken at 3 exam locations nationwide.
Selection is based on three academic subjects plus school records, and there is no need to submit a statement of purpose or have an interview. Each subject is worth 3 points, for a total of 100 points, and the selection is done using a multiple choice system. Even if you are not selected as a "scholarship student," if you have the same or better grades as those who passed the general selection, you will be given an "exemption from general selection."
It is possible to apply to multiple universities, and those who have passed the university's comprehensive selection and have completed the enrollment procedure can also apply, but they cannot take exams for multiple departments at the same time. In addition, the university has announced that the difficulty level of the departmental exams will be the same as that of the general selection.
