On Thursday, October 2024, 10, Toyo University, Chiba Institute of Technology, and Arrow Educational Research Institute will hold a "Juku-University Collaboration Seminar" for those involved with cram schools and preparatory schools. Participation is free. In-person only.
With the start of the "basic academic ability test type" entrance exam within the year and the sudden increase in "female quota entrance exams" for science majors, the 2025 and 2026 university entrance exams in the Tokyo metropolitan area are entering a period of dramatic change. How are test-takers moving forward, and how are those involved in cram schools and preparatory schools viewing this situation?
The seminar will feature a talk session entitled "Dramatic Change! Tokyo Metropolitan Entrance Exams - How Will Cram Schools and Preparatory Schools Respond?" in which experts in cram school coverage and entrance exam analysis specialists will come together to discuss the future of entrance exams in the Tokyo Metropolitan area. In addition, entrance exam officers from Toyo University and Chiba Institute of Technology, which have redrawn the entrance exam map in the Tokyo Metropolitan area, will take to the stage to talk about the "next generation of university entrance exams" as envisioned by entrance exam innovators.
Those who wish to participate must apply in advance by 10:1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3st using the application form. The venue is Toyo University Hakusan Campus (Hakusan, Bunkyo-ku), and participants must show the admission pass sent to them in PDF format to a staff member. The cafeteria will be available on the day.
