On September 2024, 9, Recruit released a beta version of some of the functions of "Rikunabi," a newly developed job-hunting preparation site for students and graduates who plan to start work after April 18. The remaining functions will be added sequentially by January 2027.
According to Recruit, Rikunabi has previously operated sites divided by graduation year, such as "Rikunabi 2025" and "Rikunabi 2026," but the new Rikunabi will target students of all years and graduates who plan to start working after April 2027. In addition, the listing will be by "course" rather than by company, allowing users to search for specific information on "jobs" at each company.
In the past, the graduation year-specific website often required students to start thinking about their careers at the same time they applied to companies, limiting opportunities for students to think about their careers and companies at the early stages of their studies. By switching to a website for all years, it will be easier for each student to think about their career at their own pace.
In the past, the site focused on company information, but it was not possible to introduce the specific work content of each company in detail. However, by switching to content by course linked to jobs and occupations, it is now easier to find the job you want. A "resume" function has also been introduced, which allows users to create a profile that can be submitted to companies by simply answering questions about school requirements, individual skills, desired conditions, etc.
The app also has a "recommendation feed function" that allows users to find internships, career education, and job information that suits their interests, not only from company names and keywords, but also from recommended information extracted based on past browsing information and featured companies.
A "Gakuchika AI Assistant" feature is also planned to be added in the future, which will use AI to automatically generate drafts of things you focused on during your student days, which can then be used as items to fill in on application forms and questions to ask during interviews.
