Kanazawa Seiryo University held the "MOONSHOT Course," a four-day course to help prepare for early job hunting, on Tuesday, August 2024th, and Tuesday, September 8th to Thursday, September 7th, 9. A total of 17 students from both the university and junior college participated.
In order to allow students to fully prepare for internships and job hunting during the summer vacation period, in 2024, a one-day course was held on the first day of summer vacation, and a three-day, two-night camp was held at the end of the summer vacation. In addition to practicing group discussions and mock interviews, students received guidance from professional instructors on the manners and grooming required for job hunting. In addition, a graduate of Kanazawa Seiryo University who is currently working in the workforce was invited to the program, and students learned about the importance of being prepared and prepared for the upcoming job hunting season.
Participating students commented that the MOONSHOT course gave them an opportunity to face themselves and approach their job search in a positive manner, saying things like, "It gave me the opportunity to put my strengths and weaknesses into words, which helped me to get to know myself better," "I made some mistakes in the group discussions and mock interviews, but I learned that it's okay to fail and still put into words what I want to say," "I realized that acting as if you are confident in yourself will help you gain confidence," and "I used to feel very uncomfortable about job hunting and often thought negatively, but I realized the importance of doing a thorough self-analysis and preparing for interviews, which helped me to think positively about job hunting."
