Starting in November, the University of Electro-Communications will be holding an introductory event for junior and senior high school students called "UEC School Café: Take a peek at what a science university is really like" at East Building 11 of the university, located in Chofu, Tokyo.
A variety of events are planned, including demonstrations of fun experiments by Emiko Tsutsumi, a lecturer at the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Hosei University, a graduate of the University of Electro-Communications, and tours of cutting-edge research equipment. In addition, students and teachers will introduce their daily lives, and students can ask for advice on their career paths and exams from their seniors and teachers.

Capacity: 20 people per session (first come, first served, free participation)
Target: Junior and senior high school students
Application: Apply via the application form at least 5 days before each session (applications will close once capacity is reached)
