Kinki University will start providing free food to approximately 5,000 students living alone at all campuses and affiliated schools, as well as international students, from January 2025, 1 (Wednesday). The program is being implemented with the support of the Kinki University Alumni Association, an alumni organization, and aims to help students who are struggling to make ends meet due to rising prices. A variety of foods will be provided, including rice, pre-packaged foods, and canned goods.
According to Kinki University, this marks the fourth consecutive year that the university has provided food items. The food items to be provided include six packs of Kinki University-related gold medal healthy rice, one serving of seaweed miso soup with Kinki University tuna bone extract, one pack of instant curry, three bundles of Goto udon noodles, one pack of Magic Rice, and more, totaling 4 sets. The items will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at each campus and affiliated school.
