Education and Search Co., Ltd. will hold the Quest Cup 2025 National Championship, Japan's largest inquiry learning festival, in February 2. The number of applications reached a record high in five categories and eight programs. 2025 teams from 5 schools in 8 prefectures across Japan, who won the national qualifying rounds, have been selected to participate in the championship.
With the revision of the curriculum guidelines for 2022, inquiry learning has become compulsory as "comprehensive inquiry time" in high schools. In line with this trend, Education & Tankyu Co., Ltd. has been offering the inquiry learning program "Quest Education" since 2005. This year, 490 schools and approximately 10 students (as of October 4) across the country are participating in this program, making it the largest inquiry learning program in Japan.
The "Quest Cup 2025 National Tournament" is an annual festival where students who have participated in this program will present their results. The theme of this year's 20th event is "Liberty." It focuses on the human "spirit of seeking freedom" and provides an opportunity to share the joy of grasping freedom and the fun of taking on challenges.
2025年2月11日(火・祝)に「社会課題探究部門」がオンラインで、2月22日(土)に企業探究部門(1st・2ndステージ)が法政大学市ケ谷キャンパスで、2月23日(日)に社会課題探究部門、進路探究部門、起業家部門、地域探究部門が同じく法政大学で開催される。2月22日・23日は一般参観の申し込みも受け付けている。
