Adachi Gakuen School Corporation decided at its board meeting on March 2025, 3 to stop recruiting students at Aichi Bunkyo Women's Junior College (Inazawa City, Aichi Prefecture) from the 12 academic year onwards. If the junior college stops recruiting, there will be no women's junior colleges in Aichi Prefecture, except for Aichi University Junior College Division (Life Design Department), which only recruits women. In addition, there will be only eight junior colleges remaining in Aichi Prefecture that have a childcare worker training department.

According to Aichi Bunkyo Women's Junior College, the school was founded in 1951 as Inazawa Women's Junior College, and changed its name to its current name in 1993. The departments offered are the Department of Early Childhood Education (120 students: Part 1, Part 3) and the Department of Life and Culture (70 students: Food and Nutrition Major, Life and Culture Major), and the campus is a 15-minute walk from Meitetsu Konomiya Station.

For the past 74 years, the school has been providing education based on its founding spirit of "educating women who can live happy lives that are worth living." However, due to a decrease in the number of applicants as a result of the decline in the 18-year-old population, and the influence of people seeking admission to four-year universities, the school has been unable to secure students or fill its enrollment quota, and has determined that it will be difficult to continue expanding the school.

For students entering in 2025 and those currently enrolled, we will continue to make every effort to maintain educational and research activities until graduation, as well as provide guidance and support for license qualifications, further education, job hunting, and general student life.

However, Aichi Bunkyo University, the Junior College affiliated Bunkyo Kindergarten, Ichinomiya Higashi Kindergarten, and Hagiwara Kindergarten, all run by Adachi Gakuen, will continue to operate as usual.
