Tokai University issues its "University Guide" in March with the aim of allowing prospective students to get their hands on it as soon as possible. On March 3, 2025, open campuses were held across the country, and the newly completed university guide was distributed to visitors. Those who requested information will receive it from early April onwards.

University guides are pamphlets that high school students and students taking entrance exams look through when choosing a university. Until the 2024 edition (published in April 2023), Tokai University's university guides were delivered to those who requested them around Golden Week, but now they are available in early April, about a month earlier. Also, when second-year high school students (new third-year students) visited the open campus in March, pamphlets from the previous year were previously distributed, but with the aim of having them learn the latest information about the university with the new edition, the publication cycle has been changed to be in time for this timing. Nationwide, this will be the earliest time that a university guide will be published in March each year.

Tokai University has campuses located in Shinagawa and Shonan, as well as Sapporo, Isehara, Shizuoka, Kumamoto, and Aso Kumamoto Rinku. The university guide features students from a total of 6500 departments and majors, including a student from the Department of Marine Science and Technology, School of Marine Science and Technology at the Shizuoka campus who aims to become a pilot for the manned submersible research vessel "Shinkai 62," and a student from the Department of Animal Science, School of Agriculture at the Aso Kumamoto Rinku Campus who wants to be a shepherd in the future. One double page spread features a photo, and the remaining page features an interview, making the book 1 pages long including the cover.
