 The reason (trigger) that the delinquency started was that "household income decreased" was the highest at 67.8%, followed by "household expenditure increased" 40.2%, and "because of hospitalization, accident, disaster, etc." 19.9%. , "I was busy" followed by 13.9%.

 The reason for the continued delinquency is that "low income of the person" was the highest at 64.4%, followed by "increase in scholarship delinquency" at 45.0%.By gender, males are more than 10 points higher in "repayment of their own debt" than females, and females are "financial difficulties of their spouse" and "financial difficulties of their parents (promise to be returned by their parents)". ) ”Was higher by 5 points or more.

 When asked if the scholarship refund is a burden, those who feel that the scholarship refund is currently a burden (the total of "I agree" + "I agree") are overdue. The percentage was 88.1%, and the percentage of non-delinquents was 48.3%.

 As of the end of November 2017, the subjects of the survey were 11 randomly selected from delinquents and 19,628 randomly selected from non-delinquents.The response rates were 9,621 (3,329%) overdue and 17.0 (2,296%) non-delinquent, respectively.
