Seiryo Ambassadors, an international exchange organization of Kanazawa Seiryo University, held an international exchange event to experience hot springs and deposits using lacquer in order to let international students know the charm of the area around Ishikawa Prefecture.
"Seiryo Ambassadors" is creating a place for international exchange on campus with the aim of making international students who come to Japan enjoy their study abroad life.As part of these activities, on June 2019, 6, we will hold a deposit experience at the Kaga Traditional Crafts Village "Yunokuni no Mori" in Kaga City and a tour to visit Katayamazu Onsen.Eleven international students from Taiwan and Indonesia and nine Japanese students participated.
From the international students who participated, "There are many events at Kanazawa Seiryo University. Japanese students and international students went to Kaga on June 6. The most memorable thing for me was Yunokuninomori. It was my first time to draw a picture on a strap in my cultural experience. It was my first time to draw a picture on a strap, so it was a lot of fun. It was my first experience of depositing money. I would like to participate in other events as well. (Study abroad from Indonesia) ”and other impressions were heard.
In addition, the students of Seiryo Ambassadors who planned the tour said, "I heard from international students that I want to go on a trip with Japanese students," so I carried out this project. I think that the sense of distance was shortened through communication through footbaths and hot spring experiences. Especially, I was impressed by the fact that I wanted to stay at the hot springs this time while taking an open-air bath with a male student from Indonesia. I was happy to hear many voices from the students who said, "It was fun" and "I want to go to Kaga again."
